EBV Elektronik, an Avnet company, announces Slobodan Puljarevic as its new president, effective October 1, 2006. At the same time, Christian Meier will assume the newly created position of chief operating officer of EBV Elektronik.

German company DynTest Technologies signed a distribution agreement with Firfax Systems (located in the United Kingdom) for the new scriber/breaker system generation DM-8150 in Northern Europe. Altera announced the appointment of Advance Rep as its sales representative in France. Advance Rep will focus on strategic accounts and reinforce Altera’s sales teams in new markets as demand for its portfolio of FPGAs, CPLDs and structured ASICs grows.
